U14 Hurlers to take on old rivals in Championship on Friday

Following on from the U14 hurlers great win over Watergrasshill in the Championship last night on a score of Valley Rovers 3-9 to Watergrasshill 0-11.Valley Rovers now play near neighbours Courcey Rovers on Friday next 21-June at 8pm in Ballygarvan. We wish them the Best of luck.
Clean sweep for Scoil Eoin in 2013

On Tuesday 18/6/13 Scoil Eoin hosted the carrigdhoun inter school
hurling blitz in Brinny which involved schools from Crosshaven ,
Ballinadee, Belgooly and Carrigaline. Scoil Eoin won all their games
with a two point win against Belgooly in the match of the tournament .
This is the fifth trophy in GAA schools competitions this year and marks
a very successful year for this talented bunch of players. Well done to
all.

in the last 10
days Valley Rovers Under 13 Hurlers have done the club proud playing three
games in the highest grade of hurling and almost reaching the county final of
the Premier 1 Hurling County only losing out to Na Piarsaighs in the Semi final
by one goal. These players have shown rich promise and if they continue to
listen to their coaches and continue to practice their skill we have no doubt
the future is bright for these excellent bunch for Hurlers. Well done to all

Valley Rovers Juvenile Club have invited David Angland from Bishopstown Physiotherapy Clinic to give a talk to our juvenile trainers and parents re injuries, stretches and lots of questions that are frequently asked. This talk will take place on today Monday June 17th in Knockavilla Hall at 8.00 p.m. Free admission, All are welcome.

follows:
Lying in repose at his home all day Friday, June 14, followed by rosary at 8pm. Reception on Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Innishannon, at 1pm, followed by Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
