Minor Hurling championship Valley Rovers minor hurlers had a good win over Passage in the first round of the premier 2 hurling championship in a windy Carrigaline on Saturday April 18th at 7 pm. This was a very physical game with the referee’s interpretation of the advantage rule very questionable throughout the game. Valleys Minor hurlers got the hurling championship of to a great start with a hard fought win in Minor Hurling Championship Premier 2 on a score of Valley Rovers 1-17 to Passage West 3-9 And our Senior Footballers defeated Nemo Rangers in a top of the table clash in Kelleher Shield on a score of Valley Rovers 0.09 to Nemo Rangers 0.07

Senior Football Valley Rovers took on Bishopstown in the Kelleher Shield in Brinny yesterday and came away with the spoils. Valleys had the two first scores of the game through Eoghan Delaney and Kevin Canty. Bishopstown responded with a goal but Valleys equalised quickly with a Darragh Crowley Point. The two teams traded points before Bishopstown struck for another major followed by a point.
