On Sunday Dec 9th Valley Rovers U12s went to the Planet Entertainment centre in Blackpool for a few hours fun.We had an hours bowling, some food, followed by some more fun in the arcade.This was a very enjoyable morning, and the lads were very well behaved as always.That's our last outing for 2012, compliments to the boys for their efforts his year and we are looking forward to 2013 with optimism.Many thanks to all parents for your cooperation in 2012 and wishing you all very happyChristmas.Regards Eddie Lynch.Some pictures can be seen...

Please find a copy of the current claim form, policy brochure and guidelines on submitting a claim.

You will notice that these documents are dated 2010 however there has been no change in the Scheme since February 2010.

The main changes between the 2009 Scheme and the current Scheme are:

On Sunday December 9th Valley Rovers played in the U16 P2 Football County League Final in Clonakilty. 90 GAA/JobBridge internships

The GAA can confirm that it will offer almost 90 new internships under the GAA / JobBridge Internship Scheme over the course of the next month as part of its ongoing commitment to the initiative.
To date more than 105 interns have been placed in 24 counties and the latest phase will be rolled out with a particular focus on Games Development and Coaching co-ordinators specifically in urban areas.

U15s defeated in the County Final

Valley Rovers U15 footballers were defeated tonight by a Ballincollig side that justified their favourites tag on a score of Valley Rovers 0-02 to Ballincollig 3-06. This was a dissappointing end to a very sucessful year for the U15s who were also defeated in the hurling decider but great credit must go to the panel and mentors for getting to both finals and we have no doubt the experience will stand to them in the coming years
