A very big thanks to Patricia Lordan for the huge amount of time and effort she put into organising and coordinating such a successful fundraiser. Thanks to everyone in both Ladies Football and Camogie Clubs for all their tremendous efforts with selling the tickets. Premier Intermediate Football Championship semi-final Valley Rovers 3-13 Carrigaline 0-13 An inspirational display by Fiachra Lynch on Saturday afternoon in Ballygarvan against Carrigaline saw Valley Rovers come out on top to reach the final of the Cork County PIFC. Congratulations to James Murphy from Goggins Hill who won the 500 Euro prize in the golden goal competition. The winning ticket was bought in the Crossbarry Inn. Valley Rovers Juvenile club sponsored walk/fun day Sunday 12.30 to 3pm in the bleach Innishanon. Walk starting at 12.30 sharp. All sponsorship cards to be returned. Some fun activities include sponge throwing at mentors (€2 for 3 sponges), hitting sliotar into a washing machine (20 cent for 3 sliotars, money back if u get all 3 in) penalty shoot out and a few more. Ladies Football All Ireland u10 Blitz On Saturday morning last our u10 girls played in the All Ireland football blitz, which was organised by the Passage West GAA club. There were 76 teams taking part, coming from as far away as Belfast, Dublin, and Kildare. Premier Intermediate Football League Yesterday in Brinny, Valley Rovers PIF team in their last league game of this season, secured promotion to Div 1 next season and will play Kelleher Shield football for the first time in the clubs history.
