Training starting for boys born in 2007

All Parents/Guardians of boys born in 2007 Valley Rovers GAA club will be commencing training in Scoil Eoin hall next Tue night 6-7pm 18th March. In April training will transfer to Brinny on a Wed evening 6-7pm. In relation to hurling helmets the club can source them for €35 each and orders can be taken at training.Parents interested in joining as mentors are most welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.

Valley Rovers Ladies Football - USED CLOTHES COLLECTION

If you’re doing a bit of Spring cleaning and are wondering what to do with your unwanted items, there will be a Clothing Recycling Drive as a fundraiser for the Valley Rovers Ladies Football Club at the end of April. We will take your clean, unwanted clothes, shoes, bed linen, household textiles and stuffed toys. Duvets and pillows will not be accepted. More details will be available later.

Junior Football League Valley Rovers played their 3rd league game on Tuesday March 4th away to Carrigaline. Carrigaline made the better start and lead by 1-6 to 0-1 after 15 minutes with Jeremy Hurley getting Valleys only score from a free in the 10th minute. After that the scoring dried up until the 26 minute when Jeremy Hurley got Valleys second point. Please note that these Scholarships are much sought after as the price of a three week Course (Cúrsa A) is reduced by €180 and the two week Course (Cúrsa B) by €120. The death has occurred of An tUachtarán Chumann Fánaithe na Claise Diarmaid Ó Crualaoich. Jerry Crowley was an outstanding player for his beloved Valley Rovers for whom he played for many a year with distinction.
