Important Notice

This morning, herbicide was again applied to parts of the Bleach surface.  The areas where it has been applied is the brown, previously burnt, areas of the main playing pitch.

The parts where the herbicide was applied is delineated by posts, signage and fence wire, which was erected this morning. 

 

Based on the Material Data Sheet of the herbicide product applied, it is advised, for Health & Safety reasons, that people and pets do not go inside the fenced off area, until Wednesday the 21st June, at approximately 5pm.  After that time it will be safe to access the area and the fence wire and signage will be taken down.

 

If you are scheduled to train in the Bleach between now and Wednesday evening, please use the areas behind both goals.  It is imperative that if a ball goes into the fenced off area, then the ball should be left there until Wednesday evening, when it can be retrieved.  The alternative is to retrieve the ball, wash the ball and wash hands immediately.  The application of the herbicide is to enable the pitch to be repaired, realigned and reseeded in parts.  Your cooperation in these matters is appreciated in advance."
