Report from last nights sucessful AGM

Valley Rovers Adult Club had a very successful AGM last night in Knockavilla hall. In front of a large attendance a wide range of topics were discussed and some thought provoking views on how to improve the club in the future. The records of the past year were presented in an excellent reports by An Runaí Rose Hoey and by Treasurer Seamus McCarthy.
President Tony McCarthy in his address reminded the meeting of the sacrifices members made both financially and personally with the time and effort in acquiring and transforming the Bleach into a playing pitch. He then asked the Club to Honour these members some who are still alive by rewiring the pitch to enable games to be played there once again.
The Chairman in his address appealed for more help and to share the workload amongst more people. He also looked for more support at matches some of which were poorly attended. More cooperation amongst the individual clubs for fundraising for the imminent development was also sought.
Following this the election of officers took place and those elected can be seen below. Some vacancies still exist and anyone interested in these important positions are asked to contact the Chairperson Paul Hoey or any officer. We thank everyone that volunteered for positions for the year ahead and wish them every success
