Schools Hurling Blitz in Brinny on May 26th

Sharing some photos from the Schools Hurling Blitz in Brinny on Thursday, May 26th. Valley Rovers were thrilled to have over 450 children attend on the day from Castlelack, Gurrane, Knockavilla & Scoil Eoin, Innishannon national schools following 4 months of coaching, which took place in the schools. 

Fantastic participation from all the children, teachers and volunteers (on & off the field) throughout the coaching programme and blitz. A fun day was had by all and great competitive matches on display too! 

Sincere thanks to Niamh Sammon (Riverview Shopping Centre Bandon & Supervalu Bandon) who arranged the food & beverages for the volunteers and to MSD (Brinny) @MSDinvents for sponsoring the Ice Cream truck, which was a huge hit with the children!
